An established industry player is seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft through meticulous maintenance and repair. The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance repair inspection and servicing of aircraft to ensure airworthiness. This includes troubleshooting mechanical issues working from technical manuals and blueprints and adhering to FAA regulations. This role requires both technical expertise and a commitment to safety and quality often involving direct interaction with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and engines of fixedwing and/or rotary aircraft.
Troubleshoot mechanical and system issues and perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and FAA regulations.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings maintenance manuals and other technical documents.
Complete all necessary paperwork and maintenance logs accurately including parts usage and labor hours.
Operate ground support equipment and obtain necessary qualifications for its use.
Communicate effectively with team members management and clients regarding aircraft status and maintenance needs.
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained controlled and calibrated.
Adhere to safety procedures quality standards and environmental regulations.
Participate in required training programs and stay current with changes in technology and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
Minimum of 2 years of handson experience maintaining aircraft (military rotary or fixed wing)
Experience with business jets (preferred but not required).
Strong understanding of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Must own and maintain a complete set of basic hand tools.
Ability to work in varying conditions including outdoors in inclement weather.
Flexibility to work overtime weekends holidays and oncall shifts as needed.
Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge if applicable.
Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office maintenance tracking software etc.
