A construction company in Dubai seeks a Senior Audit Executive to execute internal audits and assess compliance with standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, CA certification, and 3-5 years of experience, particularly in the construction industry. Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP is required, along with strong analytical skills. This role involves collaboration with management and focuses on process improvement.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in construction.
- Hands-on audit experience in the construction or real estate industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with UAE labor laws and local compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Execute internal audits in line with the annual audit plan.
- Conduct process walkthroughs and interviews with auditees.
- Perform audit procedures to assess compliance with policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Draft clear audit observations and recommendations.
- Follow up on audit recommendations.
