Zoho Pre-Sales Consultant
Job Summary
The Zoho Pre‑Sales Consultant supports the sales team by providing functional and technical expertise on Zoho products and solutions. The role is responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing Zoho‑based solutions, delivering product demonstrations, preparing proposals and supporting the sales cycle from qualification to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Sales & Solution Design
- Work closely with sales teams to understand client business requirements and pain points
- Design Zoho‑based solutions aligned with customer needs using applications such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Projects and Zoho Analytics
- Define solution architecture, workflows, automation and integration approaches
Product Demonstrations & Presentations
- Conduct Zoho product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs) and workshops
- Prepare and deliver presentations, solution walk‑throughs and technical explanations to clients
- Address functional and high‑level technical queries during sales discussions
Proposal & Estimation Support
- Prepare solution documents, scope of work (SOW), effort estimations and timelines
- Support pricing, licensing recommendations and implementation roadmaps
- Assist in RFP/RFQ responses and client proposals
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a bridge between sales, delivery and technical teams
- Ensure smooth handover from pre‑sales to implementation teams
- Support negotiations by providing technical clarifications and solution justification
Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on Zoho product updates, features and licensing models
- Analyze competitor offerings and market trends
- Provide feedback to sales and delivery teams on product gaps and customer expectations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of the Zoho ecosystem
- Solid knowledge of ERP, CRM and business process automation concepts
- Ability to design functional solutions and explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience with Zoho Creator customizations and integrations (functional / high‑level technical)
Sales & Communication Skills
- Excellent presentation, communication and client‑facing skills
- Strong requirement analysis and solution mapping capabilities
- Ability to articulate value propositions and ROI
Experience & Education
- 26 years of experience in Zoho pre‑sales, ERP pre‑sales or IT solution consulting
- Experience working with Zoho Partners or system integrators preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Zoho Certification(s)
- Experience in Manufacturing, Real Estate, Construction or Professional Services domains
- Exposure to the UAE / GCC market and business practices
