Overview

Welder job in Zayed City UAE. We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Zayed City. The successful applicant will be responsible for welding components and assemblies using various welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Set up and operate welding equipment such as arc welders, MIG welders, TIG welders, oxy-acetylene torches
• Fit, align and join components together before welding
• Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of material
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications
• Make necessary changes or adjustments to correct defects

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder; certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow instructions accurately
• Good knowledge of various materials used in the industry (aluminum, steel etc.)
• Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a weld shop is essential
