Responsibilities

  • Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of all goods.
  • Ensure ownership of 100% stock accuracy and conduct daily cycle counts.
  • Plan daily delivery routes efficiently and track delivery KPIs.
  • Ensure every transaction is recorded in Business Central promptly.
  • Supervise warehouse staff & drivers and conduct necessary training.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Recommend improvements for layout and workflow optimisation.

Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse & Delivery In Charge to oversee and manage our warehouse operations and delivery processes in Dubai, UAE. This role is crucial for ensuring that our inventory is properly managed, goods are stored efficiently, and deliveries are executed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, combined with excellent leadership skills to manage a team effectively. You will be responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations and will play a pivotal role in optimizing our inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Management
  • Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of all goods.
  • Ensure all items follow FIFO/FEFO depending on classification.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards at all times.
  • Implement correct bin locations, labels, and stock arrangement.
  • Enforce daily opening/closing procedures.
2. Inventory Accuracy & Control
  • Ownership of 100% stock accuracy.
  • Ensure every item received is: checked, GRN’d, labelled, stored correctly.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and weekly variances reporting.
  • Investigate discrepancies immediately — no guessing, no delays.
  • Work directly with Purchasing + Business Central to correct item card data if needed.
3. Delivery & Logistics Management
  • Plan daily delivery routes efficiently.
  • Ensure drivers follow timelines, delivery instructions, and customer communication etiquette.
  • Track delivery KPIs: On-time delivery rate / Return-to-warehouse cases / Damaged items / Failed delivery reasons.
  • Ensure Proof of Deliveries are collected, organised, uploaded promptly.
4. Documentation & System Accuracy
  • Ensure every transaction is recorded in Business Central with no backlog.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance & Sales Support on delivery notes, transfer orders, invoices, and returns.
  • Maintain records for ISO 13485 compliance.
5. People Management
  • Supervise warehouse staff & drivers.
  • Conduct training for picking, scanning, safety, and equipment handling.
  • Schedule staff and allocate tasks logically — no idle hands.
  • Enforce discipline, attendance, and hygiene standards.
6. Safety, Equipment & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, warehouse SOPs, and UAE regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, racks, ACs, safety gear, etc.).
  • Conduct safety drills and hazard reporting.
  • Maintain MSDS files where applicable.
7. Continuous Improvement
  • Recommend layout improvements, workflow optimisation, and cost-saving measures.
  • Reduce errors and speed up order fulfilment.
  • Improve space utilisation.
