Overview

As a senior leader and the VP of FinTech sales at Nasdaq, you will be accountable for shaping and executing sales strategies that advance our position as a global technology company providing mission‑critical capital markets and regulatory solutions to the financial service industry. You will be playing a critical role in enhancing client experiences and capitalizing on growth opportunities across our FinTech portfolio.

This role requires a proven ability to deliver measurable business impact in complex, regulated environments. This entails being responsible for your team achieving sales targets, high customer satisfaction, and further expanding Nasdaq’s business in the MEA region.

You’ll thrive in this position if you bring executive presence, strategic clarity, and the ability to mobilize diverse teams towards a common vision. In addition to being a leader with vision, you are someone who’s willing to get involved and solve challenging aspects.

This role will require travel, principally within the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the sales strategy for Nasdaq’s FinTech business with focus on the MEA region, ensuring alignment with Nasdaq’s global objectives.
  • Represent Nasdaq with senior external stakeholders, regulators, and clients to strengthen relationships, client pipelines, and market position.
  • Inspire, develop, and empower leadership teams to deliver excellence at scale.
  • Drive operational discipline and financial accountability across functions.
  • Champion innovation and change agility, balancing short‑term results with long‑term growth.
  • Act as the Office Site Leader in Dubai, representing and modeling Nasdaq’s values; engage and influence clients, partners, peers, people managers, and employees; and drive a positive workplace culture, so we may serve our clients better.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive senior sales experience in capital markets, FinTech, or a comparable global industry.
  • Demonstrated success in setting and delivering multi‑year strategies with measurable outcomes. Validated history of exceeding targets and profitable deals.
  • Deep understanding of sales frameworks, market trends, customer journeys, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce), analytics tools, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to represent the organization externally at the highest levels.
  • Track record of building, leading, and inspiring high‑performing teams across geographies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation skills, with fluency in English.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies shaping the future of markets and economies.
  • Deep understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory landscapes in MEA.
