Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced VP Emiratisation to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a VP Emiratisation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase the representation of Emiratis in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Emiratisation strategy in line with the company's goals and objectives
  • Identify and partner with local organizations and government agencies to attract and recruit Emirati talent
  • Develop and maintain relationships with universities and educational institutions to create internship and training programs for Emirati students
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure Emirati candidates are considered for all job openings
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure the long-term success and growth of Emirati employees within the organization
  • Monitor and report on the progress of Emiratisation initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
  • Stay updated on local labor laws and regulations related to Emiratisation and ensure compliance
  • Serve as a mentor and advocate for Emirati employees, providing support and guidance for their career growth and development
  • Represent the company at Emiratisation events and conferences to promote our commitment to Emiratisation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Emiratisation or diversity and inclusion roles
  • Strong understanding of local culture and labor laws related to Emiratisation
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing Emiratisation strategies and initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
