Roles and Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting Oversight
  • Take ownership of pending reconciliations and help bring books up to date.
  • Ensure due processes are set up for inter‑company accounting.
  • Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings.
  • Ensure compliance with local reporting standards.
  • Review financial statements and management reports.
Financial Leadership & Strategy
  • Set financial strategy aligned with business goals and operations.
  • Advise the CEO and board on financial planning, risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee capital allocation, funding strategies and investment decisions.
  • Drive cost optimisation and working‑capital efficiency.
  • Provide necessary guidance to the Accounting team on an ongoing basis.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Review detailed budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Monitor profitability by business unit and product line.
  • Lead scenario modelling to support strategic decisions.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards for financial visibility.
Controls & Compliance
  • Establish and maintain internal financial controls and policies.
  • Conduct periodic financial risk assessments.
  • Oversee Zoho Books setup and optimise for better controls.
Qualifications
  • CA or equivalent professional qualification required.
  • 15–25 years of senior finance leadership experience preferably in manufacturing.
  • Utilise Zoho Books effectively to manage reports, reconciliations and overall financial accuracy.
  • Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to guide cross‑functional teams and drive performance.
