A luxury hospitality group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a dedicated Guest Service Agent to provide personalized assistance to hotel guests. The ideal candidate should possess a university degree and at least one year of experience in a guest services role. Candidates who speak Russian are preferred, and additional languages are a plus. Join our team to create memorable experiences for guests at a stunning beachfront resort.
Maintain availability to provide assistance for any matter related to making the stay of hotel guests a pleasant and memorable one.
Coordinate with Room Service the delivery of fruits for VIP guests and prepare the VIP fruit baskets. Replenish them daily until the guests' departure.
Greet VIP guests upon arrival outside their assigned room and offer assistance.
After check-in, introduce yourself to the guest, escort them to their room, explain room and hotel facilities, and offer assistance for the remainder of their stay.
At times, check in arriving guests and check out departing guests in a friendly and caring manner according to procedures and Rixos standards.
Answer all guest requests and questions in a friendly and caring manner, whether by telephone or in person, provide/receive information, and take appropriate actions or refer matters to relevant persons.
Resolve guest complaints/requests and liaise with the concerned department to ensure immediate follow-up.
Be aware of the hotel accident prevention policies.
Practice suggestive selling and familiarize guests with hotel facilities.
Coordinate with the Front Office to ensure that payment of guest folios is protected at all times regarding baggage procedures & release of guest bags on departure.
Escort guests to their rooms. For first-time guests, explain hotel facilities and room features such as lighting, TV, safe, AC, fire exits, etc.
Ensure all guests are greeted upon arrival and departure, escorting each individual to the correct location.
Monitor hotel occupancy, functions, groups, and VIPs.
Provide friendly and courteous service, responding promptly to all requests and inquiries at all times.
At the end of each shift, communicate all relevant information to the next shift for smooth operations.
Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaints are handled efficiently and courteously.
Ensure prompt and efficient handling of message, newspaper, parcel, and package deliveries as per hotel policy. Arrange guest transportation requests, including limousine service, shuttle bus, and car rental, in coordination with the hotel’s rent-a-car partner.
