A leading HR consultancy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant specialized in VAT and FTA compliance. This critical role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely tax filings while adhering to UAE tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong skills in accounting software. The position offers a monthly salary of AED 4000 and a visa is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience with VAT and FTA compliance is a must.
• Proficient in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all transactions comply with UAE VAT laws and regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
• Assist in preparing tax returns ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and process incoming invoices ensuring compliance with policies.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow for operations.

Skills
