Job Description

As the Head Valet at Pullman Dubai JLT, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will lead a high-energy team to deliver seamless, upscale arrivals and departures, combining operational precision, team leadership, and a "Heartist" approach to service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor the valet team, ensuring all staff adhere to grooming standards and service protocols.
    • Coordinate shift rotas and manage peak-hour deployment to minimize guest wait times.
    • Conduct daily briefings to communicate VIP arrivals, hotel events, and occupancy levels.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the efficient flow of traffic at the hotel main entrance, preventing congestion in the JLT cluster.
    • Ensure the safe handling, parking, and retrieval of guest vehicles.
    • Manage the valet parking log, key security systems, and damage inspection reports with 100% accuracy.
    • Collaborate with the Security team to maintain driveway safety and surveillance.
  • Guest Experience
    • Provide a warm, proactive welcome to all guests, anticipating their needs (luggage assistance, directions, or local recommendations).
    • Handle guest complaints or vehicle concerns with diplomacy, urgency, and a solution-oriented mindset.
    • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding Pullman’s "Our World is Your Playground" philosophy.
  • Administrative & Financial
    • Monitor valet equipment and supply inventory (key tags, uniforms, parking software).
    • Ensure all parking fees (if applicable) are processed correctly through the Front Office system.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a valet or concierge supervisory role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Driving Credentials: Valid UAE Manual & Automatic driving license and an accident-free driving record.
  • Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian, or French) are a significant advantage.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with property management systems (like Opera) and valet tracking software.
