A global insurer is seeking an Underwriting Manager for Financial Lines in Dubai. This role involves leading the underwriting team and ensuring the delivery of the product business plan. Candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in financial lines underwriting. Strong communication skills in English are essential, and knowledge of local regulations is preferred. Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe purpose of this role is to lead the Product for the relevant Branch office ensuring delivery of the agreed allocation of the Product business plan and managing the Underwriting Team. This role involves underwriting business in line with the business plan managing a team of Underwriters and overseeing a Profit and Loss Statement across major product lines. Additionally the role includes engagement with senior underwriting leaders supporting portfolio development plans contributing to the Regional Underwriting Board and ensuring governance legal and regulatory oversight.
