As our new Trading Assistant, you will join our dynamic Arabian Gulf trading team in Dubai, contributing significantly to our industry impact. Your role will involve supporting the team in sales, logistics, cargo sourcing, and business activities by managing administrative tasks and maintaining system information accuracy.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure the robustness of our administrative backbone and to focus on process optimization.

Areas of focus include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining daily vessel movement tracking
  • Ensuring data quality, including vessel tracking and daily indications/prices
  • Processing sales and purchase orders
  • Assisting with tender requirements
  • Data entry into our IT system (NAV)
  • Supporting traders with ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Streamlining and optimizing procedures and processes

Professional skills required:

  • Relevant administrative education
  • Experience in a similar role, such as Sales Coordinator or Assistant
  • Experience in the shipping industry is advantageous
  • Experience with NAV is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English

  • Well-organized and structured approach to tasks
  • Supportive and service-minded attitude
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Proactive, with the ability to follow up positively and persistently
