The Mason will be responsible for executing high-quality masonry work with a focus on marble, porcelain, ceramic tiles & others, including installation, finishing, and cleaning. This role supports both maintenance and fit‑out projects, ensuring durable and aesthetically pleasing results across various company properties. The mason may also be assigned to other general fit‑out or maintenance tasks depending on project needs and supervisor direction.
- Perform skilled masonry work including marble installation, tile setting, surface levelling, and joint finishing.
- Support fit‑out and renovation projects by preparing and aligning surfaces, cutting materials, and applying adhesives or mortar.
- Carry out cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of marble surfaces to preserve appearance and longevity.
- Handle tools, equipment, and materials in an organized and safe manner, ensuring proper storage and minimal waste.
- Follow project specifications and timelines while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on‑site.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a mason with proven work in marble installation. Available in GCC.
- Experience in commercial fit‑out or facility maintenance settings preferred.
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor masonry tasks is an advantage.
- Previous experience working with Tier 1 Contractors, Fit‑out Contractors, or FM Contractors, particularly on high‑end, luxury projects.
- Solid knowledge of masonry techniques with a strong focus on marble work.
- Ability to measure, cut, and finish marble and other materials with precision.
- Familiarity with the tools, adhesives, and cleaning agents used in stonework.
- Capable of working independently and adapting to project requirements.
- Physical fit and attention to detail for handling heavy materials and delivering neat finishes.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to understand and speak proper English to follow instructions and coordinate with the team.
