Job description
  • Prepare and revise technical drawings layouts and as‑built documentation using the latest versions of MicroStation and AutoCAD.
  • Interpret design inputs from engineers and accurately translate them into detailed and coordinated construction drawings.
  • Review update and maintain drawings in compliance with project specifications authority requirements (RTA DM DEWA) and AECOM quality standards.
  • Track and verify existing sewerage stormwater and irrigation networks in Dubai using as‑built records from Drainage (DS) Irrigation (IRR) and Roads projects.
  • Conduct site surveys and coordinate with inspectors to verify construction progress and collect accurate data for as‑built documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with engineers inspectors and document control teams to ensure timely submission and approval of drawings.
  • Update and prepare redline markups section details pipeline profiles and microtunneling shaft layouts based on field data.
  • Maintain a well‑organized archive and digital record system for all project drawings and revisions.
  • Review contractors as‑built and shop drawing submissions to verify compliance with actual site conditions.
  • Provide technical drafting support during construction to ensure drawings reflect approved changes and actual site execution.
  • Support the preparation of utility coordination drawings ensuring accuracy across multiple services and avoiding conflicts.
  • Ensure all drawing deliverables meet AECOM and authority CAD standards including layering scaling and title block consistency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Geography Civil & Survey Engineering Geomatics Engineering or related curriculum (or equivalent) and typically 6 years of related experience
  • Minimum of 10years of experience in BIM and GIS engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in BIM Software: Mastery of BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Civil 3D Autodesk MAP
  • Bentley MicroStation Infraworks is essential for creating and managing building models
  • Strong command of GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS QGIS
  • Autodesk AutoCAD Revit / Navisworks experience
