Job Overview

Here’s your chance to step into the role of Technician - Ain Dubai - Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you’ll take on key responsibilities that include:

Functional

• Completion of daily tasks (PPM’s, Works Orders) within the team
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed correctly, legibly and on time
• Identify spares and or tooling need and raise purchase requests for the requirements
• Assist team in completion of health & Safety Assessments and review of Code of Safe Working Practice (COSWP)
• Carry out any scheduled safety equipment checks
• Identify training requirements and Liaise with the Technical Supervisors to arrange training workshops in line with the Ain Dubai Training Scheme
• Share knowledge to others utilizing training techniques and toolbox talks
• Correctly use the permit to work system
• Assist in completion of Risk Assessments
• Following training assist in the development and operation of the CMMS system
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance whilst on shift
• Attend daily communication meetings with the management team and other departments as required
• Recommend improvements in departmental policy, procedure, and practice
• Carry out faithfully and professionally any other reasonable requests required by the Ain Dubai Technical Management team
• Works with minimal supervision and maintains control over tasks assignment and responsibilities
• Considerable latitude in decision making on established operations and functional procedures
• Familiarization of Safety Ride Attraction Specific, Ride and Manufacturer O&M Manuals, Ride and Attraction Operation
• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the department KPI’s and reduce waste by control of the use of spare parts and consumables
• Ensure all parts used / returned to stock are inventoried correctly via the CMMS system
• Ensure all individual tools supply are properly utilized and maintained

Processes

• Ensure work orders issued via the CMMS are completed on time
• Comply with LOTO, COSWP to ensure all works are carried out safely
• Ensure manufacturers maintenance requirements are followed for every task
• Ensure Rides Logbook / PDA is updated with all tasks, breakdowns, and incidents

Learning & Development

• Contribute to developing a maintenance team who work together, support, communicate and encourage one another
• Creating a fun, professional environment where the Ain Dubai values are delivered
• Complete coaching & development to ensure confidence and have the skills to work safely and diligently on all Ain Dubai assets
• The Technical team is expected to develop and nurture positive relationships with all Departments within the Ain Dubai
• Always maintaining a professional appearance
• Maintains valid conformity training certification
• Improvement on knowledge/skills on new developments related for the job

About you

• HND/ HNC/ TEC or professional qualification/ equivalency in Engineering field
