Job Objectives

The Technical Coordination Engineer provides comprehensive administrative support to the engineering team to ensure the smooth operation of an engineering department. This role involves coordinating and planning activities, managing documentation, and maintaining systems, often requiring strong organizational, communication, and technical skills. Specific tasks may include planning and managing schedules, handling correspondence, preparing reports, and assisting with project coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and drive the planning activities
  • Create and maintain planning schedules, planning tools and files
  • Track project progress and milestones.
  • Support clash detection, model updates, and integration with architectural and structural disciplines.
  • Strong planning skills to track and schedule key engineering activities.
  • Maintain and update project files, engineering logs, and reports.
  • Participate in client and consultant meetings as required, preparing meeting minutes and action plans.
  • Collaborate with senior engineering and drafting team.
  • Follow up on commitments and agreements for the project team.
  • Create planning tools to track document flow.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong planning skills and deep knowledge of MS Project or similar software.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with planning large and complex projects.
