We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Technical Account Manager (TAM) to manage our strategic accounts, particularly within the Oil & Gas industry, leveraging deep expertise in Cloud Architecture, Data & Analytics, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background as a Solutions Architect or Software Engineer, with a proven track record of over 8 years building innovative solutions on AWS and specializing in the Internet of Things (IoT) and data integration pipelines. Experience delivering successful solutions in oil & gas, manufacturing, and prop-tech domains is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact and trusted advisor for top-tier enterprise accounts, potentially including global oil and gas customers.
- Actively lead solution support efforts, serving as the primary escalation point for customers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Manage delivery projects, new RFPs, and various customer engagement matters for assigned accounts.
- Provide technical expertise and advisory to enhance and develop solutions running on our industrial data platform.
- Provide customers with product demonstrations and build proof-of-concepts (POCs) in areas such as Gen AI agents, Data Integration & Modeling, Engineering diagrams parsing, and integration of IT data with 3D / Point Clouds.
Solution Architecture & Cloud Expertise
- Provide guidance on solution architecture, data modeling, and integration best practices for clients.
- Act as the expert on cloud services (AWS, Azure) and lead the planning and execution of platform migrations (e.g., GCP to Azure) and related solution management.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, developing templates (e.g., CloudFormation) for customer workloads.
- Implement AWS best practices for managing organizational accounts and optimizing cloud costs.
- Design and maintain data visualization solutions, including PowerBI dashboards and custom tools using technologies like Plotly.js and Streamlit.
- Contribute to the development of applications and microservices, demonstrating proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Python, and C#.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Over 8 years of experience in a technical role, such as Solutions Architect or Software Engineer.
- Proven experience managing key accounts and serving as a technical escalation point.
- Expertise in Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure) and experience with serverless computing and services like AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
- Strong background in Data & Analytics, including data integration (ETL) and data modeling. Experience with Python Pandas is a plus.
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas or related industrial domains (e.g., manufacturing, prop-tech) is essential.
- Experience with industrial data platforms that integrate and contextualize IT, OT, and ET data is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English (highly proficient).
