What you’ll do:
  • Act as a change agent by looking for new ways to improve the employee experience and promote our brand/function employee value proposition.
  • Define, develop and implement our people's vision to support our ambitious business strategy.
  • Responsible for the full recruitment cycle and assists in maintaining a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Manages and takes pride in the candidate and stakeholder journey.
  • Designs and implements progressive sourcing strategies, including networking, social media, professional associations, and organizations to provide top-tier applicants access.
  • Continuously develop networks and partnerships to actively build a strong pipeline of candidates.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to promote referral programs and internal mobility opportunities.
  • Creatively look for ways to increase the efficiency of the hiring process.
  • Strong stakeholder management; build relationships with line managers and business leaders to understand and meet their respective teams or divisions' hiring needs.
  • Educate line managers on the recruitment process and build positive, credible relationships with them.
  • Create weekly/monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics and share them with the management team.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events (i.e., college job fairs), providing company/job information, and interviewing applicants.
  • Represent and take the lead for internal TA training sessions.
  • Act as an active and effective member of the team, ensuring the high visibility, focus and delivery of the People and Culture strategy.
  • Continually assess our existing policies, procedures, and programs to identify and recommend areas of improvement to increase efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure the recruiting strategies result in relevant, high caliber candidates being identified. Aim to collate constructive feedback, in order to identify scope for improvement for enhanced productivity and efficiency in the recruitment process.
  • Encourage a “growth mindset” across the company by collaborating with the Learning team to review and assess the training strategy to ensure a culture of learning and development is embedded into the company and well communicated with all employees.
  • Target continuous cultural transformation, provide advice and guidance to leaders and managers around how to act as role models to create a positive and inspiring team climate, with a close focus on Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, to achieve culture change, nationalization and employee wellbeing.
What you’ll need:
  • Degree educated with (or working towards) HR qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a ecommerce industry
  • Bi‑lingual English and Arabic
  • Expert knowledge in labor law and how to apply in the workplace.
  • Strong communicator to influence and guide others on HR matters at all levels
  • Experience of delivering HR process improvements and compliance.
  • Enjoys working in fast paced, demanding environments.
  • Previous success in driving change, raising people standards, and leading HR teams.
  • A desire to achieve results, learn and apply HR best practice across a large workforce.
