A leading robotics company in Dubai is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide first-level support for robots and IT products. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics or related fields and strong troubleshooting skills. Experience with humanoid and quadruped robots and knowledge in Python and machine learning frameworks are essential. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced technology environment.

Job Description

Address user tickets regarding issues reported on helpdesk

Provide first level technical support on Robots, IT Products.

Installing Operating System, Applications and Computer Peripherals

Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems

Guide users with simple, step by step instructions on phone if required

Conduct remote troubleshooting via remote desktop applications

Test alternative pathways until the issue is resolved

Follow up with users to ensure their systems are functional

Record technical issues and solutions in case logs on Helpdesk

Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

Report user feedback and potential product requests to the IT Incharge

Provide first-line technical support across various hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.

Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of desktop systems and peripherals, tailoring setups to meet user-specific requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields.

Proven experience with humanoid (e.g., Cruzr, Pepper, etc.) and quadruped robots (e.g., Unitree, Go2, G1, etc.).

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for both mechanical and software issues.

Hands-on experience with Python, facial recognition, and NLP model deployment.

Familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow, or ROS is an advantage.

Excellent communication and documentation skills for client-facing interactions.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage field teams and coordinate multiple projects.
