Job summary

A leading international trade center in the United Arab Emirates seeks an individual for various operational responsibilities. The role demands frequent onsite presence during events, requiring flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends. The candidate should possess at least a High School diploma and preferably have a year of experience. Responsibilities include updating policies, conducting training, supervising badge operations, and collaborating with the finance department. This position offers a dynamic work environment with diverse tasks across events.

Job description
  • Annually Updating all the policies/ procedures/ SLA or develop if needed
  • Conduct contractor+ portal trainings to organizers, contractors, exhibitors and DWTC internal stakeholders when requested
  • Support in Contractor+ Portal Projects and to develop and improve the work efficiency
  • Updating presentations and creating step by step guides (if applicable)
  • Updating the memo policy
  • Daily and Weekly routine are undertaken to supervise the contractor badge operation
  • Giving support to the Cashiers Team and Al Warsan Holding Cashiers in all issues, meet and brief the team regularly and provide appropriate advice and directions
  • To train new cashiers if needed
  • Create Cashiers Schedule for Events and Exhibitions Internal and External
  • In Al Warsan Holding Area provide appropriate briefing and advise to the cashiers, dealing with the system failure issues and any other issue related to the registration vehicle
  • Controlling the Annual badges, Temporary Badges, International badges
  • Controlling the Driver badges issuance in the registration vehicle
  • Holding contractor badges inspections and report the contractors illegally accessing the venues
  • Coordinating with Finance Department for the monthly reconciliation revenue report
  • Reconcile monthly report of permanent and international contractor badges applications
  • Extracting from CBMS monthly report of Temporary Contractor badges revenue
  • Inventory of Badges and PPE Reports
  • Maintain close coordination with other department and internal unit sections
Operating Environment
  • Timings may be affected by the ongoing events, the job requires a lot of onsite presence throughout the venue and unsociable working hours (mostly evenings, weekends and public holidays) as per each event’s operational requirements
  • Events are taking place mostly indoors however some elements may take place outdoor, and some events may take place in offsite venues managed by DEC. Meetings may also take place at clients’ premises
