Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The role involves delivering direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation, while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards of clinical practice and provide physical and psychological support to patients and families

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, triage patients, and provide timely interventions.
  • Monitor patients’ progress, document findings, and modify care plans as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide handover reports using SBAR and maintain clear communication.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Report incidents/near misses and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all patient care activities.
  • Triage and assess patients following established protocols.
  • Provide immediate care for emergency cases, including minor procedures.
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Maintain composure and efficiency in high-stress, fast-paced situations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Valid UAE License or eligibility.
  • Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certification.
