About the Role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for all Pearl Spa guests, creating a welcoming and serene atmosphere from the moment they arrive. This role is responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, coordinating therapist schedules, and ensuring seamless spa operations. With warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail, the Spa Receptionist supports the delivery of an exceptional and personalized wellness experience.

What you will do
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a warm, calm, and welcoming demeanor at all times when assisting guests and colleagues; smile genuinely and maintain appropriate eye contact.
  • Keep the reception and work areas neat, clean, organized, and quiet to preserve the spa’s serene environment.
  • Wear the prescribed uniform neatly and consistently demonstrate excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards.
  • Follow proper accounting procedures and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and attendance policies.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and adapt to changing business demands.
  • Accept performance feedback positively and make appropriate adjustments to improve performance.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully; listen attentively and avoid interrupting others.
  • Respond appropriately to any hotel emergency or safety situation, following established procedures.
  • Utilize the spa logbook, software system, and scheduling charts to ensure accurate communication of relevant information among staff.
  • Build positive relationships with peers, subordinates, and supervisors through trust, cooperation, and mutual respect.
  • Report and record maintenance issues, guest comments, resident concerns, and operational glitches to the Spa Supervisor or Director of Spa.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all spa and health club amenities, equipment, treatments, packages, and current promotions, including their benefits, indications, and contraindications.
  • Understand and follow all safety and operational procedures related to spa and health club equipment and products.
  • Demonstrate discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all guest, team member, and third‑party information at all times.
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by Director of Spa, Spa Supervisor, or hotel management and respect established lines of authority.
What you bring
  • A minimum of at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury brand, spa or wellness center.
  • Strong guest service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, polished appearance with a calm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness products, and basic retail principles is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in spa booking or hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Book4Time).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.
