Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology and 2-3 years of relevant experience. We offer both British and American Curricula, fostering academic excellence and holistic development. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our British Curriculum Al Maharat branch in Shakhbout City, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to create action plans that support student well-being.
Conduct individual and group sessions to address student concerns and promote positive mental health.
Identify students at risk and provide early intervention strategies.
Develop and implement programs that enhance student welfare, social skills, and overall school culture.
Maintain accurate records, prepare case reports, and ensure compliance with ADEK (Abu Dhabi Department of Education & Knowledge) policies.
Liaise with external agencies and community organizations when necessary to provide additional support.
Organize workshops and awareness campaigns on topics such as bullying prevention, emotional resilience, and student safety.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a school social worker, counselor, or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of student safeguarding and child protection practices.
Knowledge of British Curriculum schools is an advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
