A leading technology solutions provider is looking for a Service Engineer Lead Security in Dubai. This pivotal role involves managing retrofit projects and maintenance contracts for security management systems across various industries. Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of experience in programming, installation, and commissioning of CCTV and access control systems. Service Engineer Lead Security (CFS) is a key role reporting directly to the Field Line Manager and will be based in Dubai. The Aftermarket CFS team carry out service maintenance and retrofit projects on Security Management Systems (SMS) and Controls used for comfort and energy efficiency across multiple industries including commercial retail and hospitality.
As a Service Engineer you will Lead, Execute & Manage independently Retrofit Projects, Maintenance Contracts and Commissioning, replacing the controllers, and you will be responsible for onsite system verification, PPM activities, testing & commissioning of additional doors/cameras upgrades, service reports of SMS and manage the overall team of technicians and subcontractors on a roster-based 24/7 duty shift plan. You will use technical & project management skills to ensure contracts are executed within deadlines and budget.
Service Engineer will play a key & front‑facing role in customer meetings, proposing designs and solutions catering to the needs of the customer with financial acumen of projects.
As a Service Lead you must have latest and advanced knowledge of security system products electronics, networking systems, AI & digital solutions. You are hands‑on with programming controllers, installing & commissioning various access control and CCTV platforms, visitor management systems, speed gates, car park barriers, bollards, ANPR integrations, virtualization, Level 3 network, testing third‑party software integrations. You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers and by always maintaining a high standard of safety.
As a member of this team you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to develop your technical and project management skills. Working as a project lead / technical lead in design, install, configure, commission, program and test of security systems which includes access control, video surveillance, ANPR, facial recognition, intercom, barriers, visitor management, etc. Involved in integrations of security systems with different subsystems. Did several database level migrations from legacy access control to latest P2000 and CCure9000. Configured P2000 automated customised reports from database as per client requirements. Involved in video guard integrations with video management systems from different manufacturers. Did successful commissioning of newly introduced security systems without having prior experience and local support. Have a good sense of emerging technologies to adapt, and always look to induct newer ways of operations and implementations. Escalation points on technical issues and provides coaching, mentoring and technical assistance to team members and clients. Coordinate with client IT team to understand their IT & network requirements and implement the same. Involved in database level integration as per client requirements. Focal point for client sales, manufacturer to achieve required solutions. Planning and implementing of gigabit Ethernet LAN and WAN infrastructure for enterprise solutions. Analysing the network infrastructure on a regular basis, recommending solutions, implementing them to overcome bottlenecks to keep the network and systems running at optimum. Installing, upgrading, configuring, patching, tuning and administering Microsoft Windows‑based servers, SQL database servers and different types of storage servers. Configuring and maintaining high‑availability systems by using server redundancy and fail‑over solutions. Planning, testing and implementing database replication, backup strategies and ensuring scheduled and unscheduled backups as per the backup plan. Investigating and performing necessary diagnostic procedures and resolving complex technical issues pertaining to hardware, operating systems & database using diagnostic tools. Supports team in all aspects through technical expertise on systems, networks and security products & applications.

As a Service Engineer you will use your strong technical knowledge in security & networking systems to execute site surveys and carry out full dilapidation reports inspecting all security and low‑voltage systems and recommending system enhancements, upgrades and replacements as necessary. As an experienced Service Engineer you will understand the customer requirements and concerns by meeting them on a regular basis and providing them required technical services and repair for security systems, databases & networking.
