Job summary

A leading analytics firm in Dubai is seeking a Service Technician to manage and repair Gas and Liquid Analyzers. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field, with mandatory field experience. You will provide training to customers and support their needs remotely while ensuring compliance with the company's standards. Ideal candidates are adaptive and possess strong technical skills. This position involves travel to customer locations and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Field Experience is mandatory.
  • Safety credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair Gas and Liquid Analyzers at customer sites.
  • Provide training on maintenance and repair.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolution.

Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Knowledge and use of support systems and processes to professionally manage, track, document and effectively close service calls.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of Gas and Liquid Analyzers.
  • Knowledge about In-situ and extractive type (Hot Wet & Cold Dry) Analyzers, CEMS.
  • Expertise in E+H Liquid and Optical Analytics or EHS (formerly SICK) Gas Analytics will be an advantage.
  • Provide training to customers on maintenance, repair, commissioning of Endress+Hauser and EHS Analytics.
  • Develop internal competencies of service team through trainings.
  • Remote and technical support to customers as and when required.
  • Adaptiveness to various industrial environment requirements.
  • Travel to customer plant locations for startup and service work.
  • Professional preparation for service visits (request type, tools, documentation, spare parts, SOP's / Work Instructions, etc.), FATs.
  • Root cause problem analysis & resolution on site using personal as well as internal expertise.
  • Is responsible for quality, complaint management, safety, health and environmental aspects within his / her competencies.
  • Behaves according to our vision, mission and credo. Follows E+H Code of Conduct.
  • Knowledge and use of the EHS Service Software (SOPAS, FLOWGATE and COBIT)
