Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a highly experienced Construction Specialist for a role focused on water and wastewater projects in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The role involves providing technical oversight during the construction phase and ensuring alignment with design and project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, with a strong focus on water-related sectors. Experience with local authorities and exceptional problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in major infrastructure programs, preferably wastewater/water sectors.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role within construction-related experience.
• Strong experience in PMC/PMO roles for water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction-phase technical overview and assurance for emergency projects.
• Review contractor construction methodologies and proposals.
• Coordinate between PMC, consultants, and client's operational teams.
