Job summary

A leading security solutions provider is seeking a Senior Technician for their Dubai office. This role involves field commissioning and troubleshooting of ACS and CCTV systems, supervising sub-contractors, and providing technical support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience, strong knowledge in installation and servicing of various CCTV systems, and a valid UAE driving license. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience with installation, testing, and commissioning of CCTV systems.
• Proven experience with Access Control systems such as CEM & C-CURE.
• Knowledge of field cabling and installation best practices for ACS and CCTV systems.
• Valid UAE driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Support ACS and CCTV systems field commissioning and troubleshooting on-site.
• Direct and supervise field sub-contractors during installations.
• Conduct system operation training for clients and maintain safety standards.
• Provide solutions for complex system issues and assist team members.

Job description

What you will do

The Senior Technician Security systems is a key role reporting directly to the Project Manager and will be based in Dubai. As a Senior Technician you will support ACS and CCTV systems field commissioning troubleshooting onsite system verification and PPM activities. This may include supervising and directing field sub-contractors.

As a member of this team you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to develop your technical and project management skills.

How you will do it

As a Technician you must have good knowledge of the latest security system products and electronics/Networking knowledge. You are hands on programming controllers installing & commissioning of various Access Control System & CCTV System Platforms Visitor Management Systems Speed gates Car Park barriers Road Blockers Bollards ANPR and set up test third party software integrations. You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers and by maintaining a high standard of safety at all times.

What we look for

Required

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical /Electronic or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 Years Experience with installation Testing & Commissioning & Servicing of Various Brands CCTV systems(Avigilon HIK Pelco Avigilon ) Thermal Camera & CCTV Storage systems.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on Access Control systems (CEM & C-CURE ACS Applications).
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on Intrusion detection ANPR & PAVA Systems.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on Road Blockers Bollards Gate Barrier & Fire Systems.
• Solid knowledge of field cabling and installation best practices for ACS and CCTV Systems.
• Organize and effectively utilize technical resources information material and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks and coordination with third-party service providers and vendors.
• Provides solutions to others on very complex system problems by either troubleshooting or advising how to resolve problems.
• Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner.
• Escalation points on technical issues and provides coaching mentoring and technical assistance to team members and clients.
• Focal point for client sales manufacturer to achieve the required solutions to fulfil the client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients IT team to understand their IT & network requirements and guide them for best practices for deployment of ACS and CCTV systems.
• Knowledge in preparation of Incident reports and Root Cause Analysis reports
• Candidate should be fluent in English speaking & Writing
• Valid UAE Driving License

Senior IC
