A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced professional for a full-time role focused on credit evaluation and structured debt financing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-12 years in banking, with substantial experience in fund financing and risk assessment. Strong financial modelling, communication skills, and knowledge of regulatory requirements are essential. This role does not offer remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in banking/NBFI, with at least 5 years in structured debt.
• Good understanding of fund structures, capital commitments, and asset valuations.
• Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to critically review a financial model.
• Understand market risk elements for both listed and unlisted entities.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate risk considerations and credit rationale.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit risk.

Responsibilities

• Handle independently the credit evaluation and approval process for structured debt.
• Coordinate with Corporate Finance teams on product programs.
• Analyze fund structures, investment strategies, and counterparty risk.
• Review term sheets to identify credit and structural risks.
• Set credit terms and conditions for financing.
• Monitor ongoing credit exposure and perform risk analysis.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements.
