Job summary

A satellite manufacturing company in the UAE seeks a highly experienced Senior Environmental Test Engineer. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of environmental verification and testing, ensuring reliable and high-quality satellite production. Responsibilities include feasibility assessments, test planning, and leading execution of tests such as Vibration and TVAC. Candidates must have significant experience in satellite environmental testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Qualifications

• Must have satellite environmental test engineering experience, especially in Vibration, TVAC, Thermal, and EMC/EMI.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and DAQ systems is necessary.
• Experience with writing SOPs and process documentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform test feasibility assessments during early satellite program phases.
• Build long-term and short-term environmental test plans based on program needs.
• Oversee readiness, calibration, and maintenance for test equipment.
• Lead execution of Vibration, TVAC, Thermal, and EMC/EMI tests.

Skills

Satellite Environmental test engineering experience (Vibration, TVAC, Thermal, EMC/EMI)

Ability to conduct feasibility assessments & long-term test planning

Strong knowledge of instrumentation & DAQ systems

Ability to write SOPs, process docs, and procedures

Experience with test standards (GEVS, MIL-STD-1540, ECSS, etc.)

Strong analytical skills for test data interpretation

Experience managing maintenance and calibration programs

Cross-functional communication & documentation discipline
