A leading HR servicing company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with a strong background in the wastewater industry. The successful candidate will drive sales for pumps, engaging with various stakeholders and identifying new business opportunities. Ideal candidates have over 4 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

  • Min. 4 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in pumps for wastewater.
  • Must have a UAE Driving license.
  • Experience with brands like Ebara, Wilo, KSB, Grundfos, Flowserve, DAB is preferred.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Role Position Title: Senior Sales Engineer (sales experience in AUH / Al Ain in pumps for water & wastewater industry)

Industry: Wastewater

Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Resources required: 3 Experience: Min. 4 years relevant exp. Budget: 12,000 to 14,000 AED Driving License: Must have a UAE Driving license

Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed the agreed sales and margin targets for pumps, within specified timeframes.
  • Understand water, wastewater, water treatment, and industrial market requirements for pumps.
  • Interface and collaborate with EPCs, end users, OEMs and consultants to highlight the value-added benefits of our range of pumps and ensure their inclusion in project specifications.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, information gathering, tender submissions, and follow-up meetings to secure orders for pumps.
  • Identify potential suppliers, new customers, and applications for developing new business opportunities for various pump solutions.
  • Plan, organize, and participate in sales team meetings, conferences, presentations, and customer training to support business activity for pumps.
  • Provide reports on progress toward sales plans on a regular basis (weekly and monthly).
Requirements
  • Candidates selling pumps to wastewater industry in Abu Dhabi / Al Ain will be preferred.
  • Must have a UAE Driving license.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or any other relevant field.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of the water & wastewater industry in the Abu Dhabi market.
  • Candidates with experience selling pumps from Ebara, Wilo, KSB, Grundfos, Flowserve, DAB will be preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in written, oral, email, and presentation formats.
  • Proven track record of growth in sales and profitability.
  • Preferably 4+ years of sales and business development experience of pumps in Abu Dhabi.
  • Technical aptitude and strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of technical and commercial teams.
  • Ability to work independently in planning activities, making decisions, and supporting customers.
  • Strong market analysis capabilities to understand market drivers, uncover customer needs, and estimate financial opportunity.
