This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Public Health Design Engineer from an MEP Building services consultancy background to join a leading architectural & engineering practice in Dubai.

Healthcare project experience & a solid understanding of HTMs are preferred.

Role & Requirements: Public Health Design Engineer

As a Public Health Design Engineer with 8+ years of experience, you will excel in this challenging yet rewarding role.

You will independently prepare the design of public health/sanitary systems, including code reviews, basis of design, system calculations, review of Revit CAD drawings, specification preparation, site investigations, and other design tasks required for public health construction in new or renovated buildings.

Minimum Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience working within an international design firm, focusing on public health engineering design.
• Must be a Mechanical Engineer with a recognized degree from an accredited engineering program.
• Excellent technical knowledge of commercial mechanical systems and equipment, including domestic hot and cold water, drainage, gas supply, fire fighting, compressed air, HVAC, etc.
• Ideally experienced with HX2, IES, or Hevacomp.
• Ideally MASHRAE or MCIBSE certified.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and proper drafting methods and techniques.
• Previous healthcare/hospital project experience is preferred.
