Job summary

A leading airline in the UAE is looking for a Lead Propulsion Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of its engine fleet. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with mandatory requirements and provide troubleshooting assistance as needed. Candidates must have a relevant engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years in aircraft engine technical support, preferably with experience in specific Etihad aircraft types. The role includes project management and close coordination with various departments for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in service technical support of aircraft engines.
• Experience with Etihad aircraft types (TRENT XWB‑97, V2500, LEAP‑1A, GE90, GEnx, GP7200).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for engine fleet operations.
• Manage outsourced maintenance and engineering activities.
• Evaluate reliability data and develop corrective action plans.
• Assess Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
