ADNOC Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to oversee major multi‑disciplined engineering projects across new facilities, plant upgrades, and technical modifications. The role drives end‑to‑end project execution from concept development to commissioning, ensuring compliance with HSE, cost, schedule, and shareholder guidelines while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership in conceptual design, proposals, material specifications, and procurement planning.
  • Coordinate and manage Project Management Consultants, ensuring quality site supervision and full project administration.
  • Evaluate project strategies, develop implementation plans, and lead multidisciplinary teams through all execution phases.
  • Manage contractors and ensure adherence to ADNOC's safety standards, project methodologies, and HSE compliance.
  • Oversee project progress, maintain communication with management, and support decision‑making for design alternatives and construction methods.
  • Lead stakeholder interfaces with external authorities and ensure compliance with relevant standards and industry codes.
  • Support commissioning, start‑up planning, and acceptance processes for completed scopes.
  • Review financial aspects including currency requirements, duty exemptions, and project forecasts.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports covering engineering, procurement, construction, and quality activities.
  • Participate in tender board meetings, performance evaluations, and committee discussions to support project governance.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in oil and gas project engineering and execution, including at least 5 years leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of EPC workflows, project planning, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Skilled in managing consultants, contractors, and cross‑functional teams in large‑scale industrial environments.
  • Solid understanding of ADNOC's HSE requirements and project management processes.
