Job description
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To manage day-to-day inventory activities for assigned markets, aiming to maximize network revenue by applying effective Revenue Management strategies and working closely with other RM streams such as Pricing and Demand as well as relevant stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages and validates system-generated inventory recommendations to ensure optimal seat allocation across assigned markets, supporting overall network revenue maximization.
  • Applies overbooking strategies at the cabin level by evaluating show-up rates, historical patterns, and cancellation trends to achieve optimal load factors.
  • Conducts detailed analysis of booking trends, market dynamics, and POS-OD mix to guide data-driven inventory decisions.
  • Evaluates aircraft capacity and configuration needs and provide strategic recommendations to Network Planning and Operations teams.
  • Coordinates with Airport Operations to proactively manage overbooked flights and minimize denied boardings through operational foresight.
  • Monitors demand shifts, booking behaviors, and competitor movements, ensuring pricing and inventory strategies remain agile and aligned with market conditions.
  • Performs post-departure flight analysis to assess the impact of inventory decisions and identify opportunities for strategic refinement.
  • Interprets and adjusts system-generated demand forecasts, applying manual influences where necessary to reflect expected market changes.
  • Analyzes multi-dimensional POS-OD demand trends and share actionable insights with cross-functional Revenue Management stakeholders.
  • Tracks holiday and special event demand to ensure accurate system inputs and timely demand adjustments.
  • Sponsors and configures demand forecasts for new route launches or frequency additions, supporting strategic growth initiatives.
  • Monitors forecast accuracy and system health, providing feedback to support continuous improvement of forecasting models.
  • Tracks key performance metrics, including RASK, yield, seat factor, average fare, and market share across POS-OD segments.
  • Collaborates closely with Pricing, Demand, Commercial, Sales, Network Planning, and Airport Operations to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
  • Leverages analytical tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, MicroStrategy) to support decision-making and exception reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management, mathematics, economics, or business management preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 3 years experience in airline commercial operations or related field.
