Senior Network Engineer

Location: Client Premises, Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 11,000 to 14,000 per month

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical IT network infrastructure to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of all enterprise networks. This role serves as a key technical escalation point for complex network issues, delivers projects, and collaborates with other IT teams to align network strategies with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in networking protocols, cloud infrastructure, security, and network automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Level 2 escalation for network‑related incidents, troubleshooting complex issues and providing root cause analysis.
• Design, implement, and manage high‑performance network solutions, including routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, and cloud network services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Perform advanced firewall administration, VPN configurations, and network security to protect the network perimeter.
• Monitor network performance and capacity using tools like SolarWinds and Dynatrace, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Develop and maintain network topology diagrams, configuration standards, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with network security best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, SOC).
• Collaborate with network architects to define the network technology roadmap and align network designs with business scalability requirements.
• Provide 24x7 network support, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and technical delivery of network‑related infrastructure projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of experience in network operations, including hands‑on expertise in Cisco IOS/NX‑OS, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper Firewalls, and F5 Load Balancers.
• 8+ years of experience in Network Operations role maintaining enterprise networks.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience on Cisco ACI—configuring EPG, Bridge domains, and Contracts in ACI.
• 5+ years of experience in configuration and maintenance of PaloAlto Firewalls.
• Hands‑on experience on F5 Loadbalancers, primarily on LTM.
• Hands‑on experience in AWS networking—configuration of AWS transit gateway, ALB and VPC peering.
• CCNP certification required.
