Key Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Linux (RHEL/ORACLE) and AIX operating systems.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM Power systems (Power9, Power10).
• Familiarity with Dell PowerMax, NetApp, and Pure Storage architecture, replication (SRDF), and provisioning.
• Solid understanding of SAN infrastructure, including Brocade switch zoning and fabric design.
• Knowledge of Oracle ExaData and OpenShift platforms and integration with enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of system hardening, security compliance standards (e.g., CIS, ISO 27001).
• Awareness of ITIL practices, change management, and audit controls.
• Comprehensive understanding of Veritas NetBackup architecture and integration with enterprise systems.
• Advanced system administration (Linux/AIX) and performance tuning.
• Proficient in storage management, replication, and troubleshooting (Dell PowerMax, NetApp, Pure Storage).
• Skilled in SAN switch configuration, firmware management, and health monitoring (Brocade).
• Expertise in managing Oracle ExaData and OpenShift environments.
• Scripting and automation with Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Competent in using monitoring tools using native inbuilt tools.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Veritas NetBackup environments.
• Proven experience in enterprise IT infrastructure roles supporting Linux and AIX environments.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Power Systems administration and virtualization (PowerVM, HMC).
• Proven track record of managing Dell EMC PowerMax, NetApp, and Pure Storage storage arrays in production environments.
• Experience in configuring and managing Brocade SAN environments in multi-path setups.
• Experience with Oracle ExaData and OpenShift deployments and lifecycle management.
• Participated in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and DR testing.
• Worked within enterprise environments following ITIL and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Veritas NetBackup in large-scale enterprise environments.
