A leading international hotel company is seeking a Senior Manager for International Hotel Development to drive new opportunities across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Qualifications

  • Identify and pursue new hotel development opportunities in KSA and Kuwait.
  • Lead negotiations for management, franchise, and other agreements.
  • Present opportunities for internal approval at Marriott.

Position Summary

As a key member of the EMEA Development team the Senior Manager International Hotel Development KSA & Kuwait will lead the identification evaluation and execution of new hotel development opportunities across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. This strategic role is central to Marriotts growth in the region focusing on management and franchise agreements for new builds conversions and adaptive reuse projects.

The Senior Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partnersincluding owners developers investors and local authoritiesto drive shareholder value and expand Marriotts brand presence. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset strong relationship-building skills and a passion for hospitality development.

Scope
  • Location: Dubai UAE
  • Language Requirements:Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
  • Travel:Frequent travel across KSA Kuwait and other Middle East markets
Key Responsibilities
Development & Deal Execution
  • Identify and pursue new hotel development opportunities in KSA and Kuwait
  • Lead negotiations for management franchise and other agreements with owners and their representatives
  • Review and analyze hotel conversions and new build opportunities for brand integration
  • Coordinate internal development processes including site inspections feasibility studies valuations and legal negotiations
  • Present opportunities for approval to Marriotts internal committees
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners developers white-label operators capital providers and local authorities
  • Represent Marriott at hospitality industry events and maintain a high profile in the region
  • Assist partners in identifying financing sources for hotel acquisition or construction
Strategic Growth & Market Development
  • Develop a robust network within the Middle East hotel and real estate investment sector
  • Champion Marriotts select service brands and promote brand preference among third-party stakeholders
  • Support Marriotts growth strategy through proactive market engagement and deal structuring
Other Responsibilities
  • Perform additional duties as required to support Marriotts development goals across the Middle East and EMEA
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott International policies and procedures
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
  • University degree in Real Estate Hotel Administration Business Administration or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 25 years of experience in real estate or hotel industries with at least 2 years in hotel advisory/development
  • Proven experience with franchised and managed hotel transactions in the Middle East
