Job summary

A leading contracting company is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee safety initiatives for a major construction project in Ras Al Khaimah. The role demands a minimum of 10 years HSE experience in the UAE construction industry, with strong knowledge of local regulations. Candidates must have relevant qualifications, including NEBOSH certification. This position offers a salary range between AED 20,000 to AED 22,000 per month, depending on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in the UAE construction industry.
• At least 3 years of direct experience working on projects in Ras Al Khaimah.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• OSHAD practitioner/auditor certification or equivalent UAE HSE certification required.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of site safety management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE plans.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and monitoring activities.
• Organize and deliver site safety inductions and specialized safety training.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations.
• Liaise with RAK Civil Defense and other local safety authorities.
• Prepare and submit HSE performance reports and management presentations.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
