A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer in Abu Dhabi to manage safety and health programs for construction projects. You will advise on safety processes, develop training programs, and conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has over 14 years of experience in construction safety management within the Middle East and holds an ISO 45001:2018 certificate. Qualifications

• Minimum 14+ years of construction safety management experience in the Middle East, including 5 years as OSH Engineer/Manager.
• Extensive knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi health and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

• Advises on ESHARP Management and SH&E processes, controlling hazards.
• Develops site-specific SH&E compliance programs and training.
• Audits projects against corporate and client standards.
• Implements occupational injury reporting and management processes.

Skills

Bachelors Degree in safety, health, and environmental/loss prevention

Recognized OSH education and certifications (e.g NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6)

ISO 45001:2018 Lead auditor certificate

Extensive knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi regulations

14+ years of construction safety management experience

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Valid UAE Driver’s license

Willingness to attend in-person interviews in Abu Dhabi

Education

Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering Disciplines
