Job summary

A leading FMCG/Food Manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee financial operations. The ideal candidate will manage budgeting, audits, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. With over 10 years of experience, especially in MIS and reporting within manufacturing, applicants should be proficient in SAP and possess strong communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to lead a finance team and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 10-12 years of experience in Accounts and finance, especially in Manufacturing organizations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in MIS and reporting.
  • Exposure to M&A activities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial and business control operations including budgeting.
  • Lead process improvements and effective management of audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Functional expert knowledge of ERP preferably SAP
Fluency in English

Job description

A leading FMCG/Food Manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking to hire a Senior Finance Manager to join its growing finance team in Dubai. This role will work collaboratively with CFO to oversee all financial and business control operations MIS/reporting accounts payable revenue management payroll treasury etc. and effective management of budgeting and planning process. Lead and implement the process improvements and procedures with focus on system driven processes helping smooth conduct of external and Internal audits effective deployment of policies and controls and robust review mechanism to ensure any deviation in meeting company objectives are timely highlighted and actioned. Motivate develop and manage the finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Compliance to all statutory requirements Direct/Indirect Taxes DFM/ESCA regulations IFRS etc
  • Focus on enhancing the efficiency of operations through automation and reducing paper work
  • Keeping tab on Various teething issues related to SAP operations and its follow up with the IT team
  • Preparation of Operating Budget of the company with detailed analysis and reports related to Sales growth GP Expenses and profitability and ensuring that it is updated in SAP
  • Provide analytic reports and variance analysis for monthly management reviews and quarterly yearly board meetings regarding financial results of the business
  • Work with Accounting and Operations Department to support monthly and quarterly close activities
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets forecasts Strategic business plans
  • Managing the external and internal audits and timely completion
  • Review the Capex requests calculate payback and ROI Ensuring timely and correct capitalization of Assets on monthly basis
  • Ensure full Budgetary control for Opex and Capex
  • Supervise and guide Finance team AP Treasury Payroll Fixed Assets GL/MIS
  • Closely monitor the finance and accounting activities related to AP GL Fixed Assets Treasury Payroll and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely with appropriate approvals
  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information
  • Ensure employee advances/loans are deducted in a timely manner
  • Monthly review of all AP control accounts GRIR s oversee the AP invoice booking process ensuring 3/4 way match is performed
  • Timely payments to vendors as per agreed payment terms monitor ageing reports and vendor reconciliations
  • Ensure Vendor debit balances/advances are settled in time
  • Review of open purchase orders at least once in a quarter
  • Correct and timely uploading of XBRL on quarterly Basis
  • Assess training needs for development and to enhance work efficiency
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce CA CPA or equivalent
  • 10-12 years of experience in Accounts and finance with at least 5 years of MIS and reporting in Manufacturing organization with distribution activities
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Functional expert knowledge of ERP preferably SAP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to M&A activities a plus
  • Fluency in English Arabic knowledge is added advantage
