Job description

As part of the Finance & Accounting team, the Senior Finance Associate/Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and reconciliations. The role also involves preparing and reviewing journal entries, managing monthly closings, and producing financial reports. In addition, the candidate will support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The position also requires supporting external audits and coordinating with auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

In the area of Odoo Functional Consulting, the candidate will act as the finance domain expert during Odoo ERP implementations, upgrades, and process improvements. This includes configuring and customizing Odoo financial modules such as Accounting, Invoicing, and Expense Management, as well as providing functional support, troubleshooting issues, and training end-users. The role further requires collaborating with IT and technical teams to translate financial requirements into system functionalities, in addition to documenting business processes and workflows to improve efficiency and automation.

Qualifications & Skills for this position include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should bring 2–3 years of proven finance and accounting experience, along with hands-on expertise in Odoo ERP’s finance and accounting modules. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is essential, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
