KAIZEN Asset Management Services, a prominent property management firm in Dubai, is looking for a seasoned and detail-oriented Senior Facilities Engineer to enhance our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience in facility management to ensure the operational excellence of our properties, contributing significantly to tenant satisfaction and building performance.

As a Senior Facilities Engineer, you will oversee complex building systems and maintenance activities, implementing effective strategies for continuous improvement and cost efficiency. You will lead troubleshooting efforts, manage maintenance personnel, and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural elements.
  • Conduct in-depth inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and develop solutions to enhance system performance and reduce downtime.
  • Lead and mentor the facilities team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure all systems function optimally.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for major repairs and renovations, ensuring all work meets the company's quality standards and budget constraints.
  • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including estimating costs for repairs and upgrades.
  • Conduct energy audits and implement initiatives aimed at sustainability and energy efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on facilities performance and project progress for presentation to management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in facility management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on engineering roles.
  • Proven experience overseeing building operations and maintenance, preferably in a senior capacity.
  • Strong technical expertise in building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and maintenance staff.
  • Proficient in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Valid UAE driver's license.
