The Government Liaison and Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations related to employee documentation company licensing and operational permits. This role requires strong coordination with various UAE government authorities such as the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Department of Economic Development (DED) and relevant free zone authorities.

Key duties include handling the timely processing renewal and cancellation of employee visas Emirates ID applications labor permits and residency requirements. The PRO also oversees the submission and follow-up of all company-related documentation including trade license renewals establishment card updates and other regulatory paperwork. Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in documentation is crucial to avoiding penalties and maintaining business continuity.

The PRO serves as the primary point of contact between the organization and government entities representing the company in all official matters. They must stay up to date on changes in UAE labor laws visa regulations and compliance requirements while also managing document clearances translations attestations and notary services. A strong understanding of the UAE legal framework fluency in Arabic (preferably) and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
