A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Electrical Engineering Professional to lead design analysis and manage various projects. The role involves overseeing installation and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 8-12 years of experience, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and ETAP. Immediate availability for on-site work is required.

Job description

Lead electrical engineering design analysis and review for projects.

• Prepare and approve technical specifications drawings and calculations.
• Oversee installation testing commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with international and local electrical codes standards and safety regulations.
• Manage budgets schedules and project resources effectively.
• Conduct site visits inspections and quality audits to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Provide technical support to procurement construction and operations teams.
• Liaise with clients consultants contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and project management.
• Experience in power distribution control systems lighting ELV systems or industrial/EPC projects.
• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD ETAP Dialux Revit MEP etc.).
• Strong knowledge of international and local electrical standards (IEC NEC IEEE NFPA etc.).
