About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Bartender to join Pearl Lounge at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient bar service ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in a manner consistent with F&B standards. Responsible for verifying age requirements, expertise in alcohol pairing and tastes, excellent recipe knowledge of classic drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and bar supplies.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes. Curate recipes specialising in fine beverages and unique cocktails in accordance with theme of the outlet/function or as required by guests.
• Assess and manage guests’ needs and recommend excellent wine and food pairing as per theme of the outlet or as required by guests. Where possible, upsell beverages to guests based on their need, choice, and selection.
• Work closely with bartenders serving all guests and support them as necessary to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Ensure all drinks transactions are processed, registered, and settled.
• Set up the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately. Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays.
• Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar position within a luxury 5‑star environment.
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences within a multicultural team environment.
• Confident and professional in managing guest feedback with empathy and efficiency.
