Overview
Working as part of the Audio Department, the Senior Audio Engineer will assist the Audio Operations Manager in delivering quality audio solutions for Special Events, Touring Music, and Corporate markets. The role involves developing and executing solutions in challenging environments and tight deadlines, with a focus on quality and excellence in all aspects of delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of the industry.
- Experience operating at large-scale events in the Special Events, touring, and corporate sectors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of CAD and/or Vectorworks is a plus.
- Experience with Networking, Dante, AVB, fiber protocols, and topology.
- Essential experience in FOH, Monitor, Systems, RF, and Stage roles.
- Knowledge of L’Acoustics speaker systems, design software, Digico, Midas, Avid consoles, Shure, and Sennheiser products is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of recording systems and connectivity is advantageous.
A good understanding of:
Electrical safety, PAT testing, and safe working practices

Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, preparing, installing, and testing audio equipment.
- Operate according to detailed specifications and contribute to delivery strategies.
- Ensure all equipment is correctly installed, tested, and operational before rehearsals or shows.
- Maintain quality standards and report faulty or damaged equipment.
- Accurately record equipment details in rental software, including barcodes.
- Report anomalies, shortages, or omissions promptly.
- Label equipment and flight cases appropriately for each job.
- Support routine maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Keep the workspace tidy and organized.
- Stay updated on new equipment and technology.
- Communicate effectively with management to resolve issues swiftly.
- Report incidents and injuries immediately.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as required.
- Operate in compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Inform management if unable to meet health and safety obligations due to resource constraints.
- Observe all company policies, rules, and procedures in all duties.
