A leading regional company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee and manage all accounting functions. The role requires ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with regulations, and the ability to provide actionable insights to management. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent certification, and proficiency in Oracle and Excel. Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is needed.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards is essential.
• Proficiency in Oracle accounting systems is a must.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, are required.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
• 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions ensuring financial accuracy.
• Provide actionable financial insights to management.
• Prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Manage UAE tax requirements, including VAT calculations.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local financial legal requirements.
