About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP B1 Functional Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of expertise in SAP B1 in end-to-end implementation.

• Has delivered 10+ full-cycle implementations independently
• Excels in client communication – confident, clear, and articulate
• Brings strong project management skills – timelines, escalations, delivery, and updates
• Has worked on solutioning and Add-on development
• Is experienced with Functional Specification/FRS documentation

Key Responsibilities (KRAs - Key Responsibility Areas)

1. Implementation & Configuration
   Lead end-to-end SAP Business One implementations, including business requirement gathering,
   system configuration, testing, and deployment.
   Configure and customize SAP B1 modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory,
   Production, CRM based on business needs.
   Develop and maintain workflow solutions and approval procedures within SAP B1.
2. Business Process Analysis & Optimization
   Conduct business process analysis and recommend best practices for improving efficiency using SAP B1.
   Assist in re-engineering business processes and improving workflows.
   Identify automation opportunities and minimize manual interventions.
3. Technical & Functional Support
   Provide post-implementation support and resolve end-user issues related to SAP B1.
   Work closely with IT teams for system enhancements, integration with third-party tools, and addon development.
   Manage system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
4. Reporting & Data Management
   Develop custom reports using SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP HANA.
   Ensure accurate data migration, validation, and reconciliation during implementation phases.
   Maintain data integrity and security within SAP B1.
5. Training & Documentation
   Conduct user training sessions and create documentation on SAP B1 functionalities.
   Prepare SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and best practices guides.
   Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of SAP B1.
6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
   Collaborate with business teams, vendors, and IT departments to align SAP B1 with business goals.
   Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an SAP Business One Functional Consultant.
• Expertise in SAP B1 core modules (Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Production, MRP etc.).
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of Boyum IT Add-ons, B1 Usability Package (B1UP), or other third-party tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP Business One certification is an added advantage
