Responsibilities
  • Quotation Handling – receive request for quotation/bill of quantity from Sales Team or directly from customer; prepare cost/calc sheets with required export control checks (Compass, Damex – E, P, Gloria etc); prepare quotation for Digital Industries and send signed/system approved offers to customers (IMALL or manual where required); prepare internal cost sheet, check part numbers and prices and liaise with Technical Specialists to verify part numbers if required.
  • Order Processing – further processing with supporting documents such as customer official Purchase Order, PO Checklist and calculation sheet and vendor special cost reference (if any); check and approve Purchase Order created before orders are released to factory where required; create and extend SAP materials in Material Master; request creation of customers in the master data list; IMALL Customer creation for new customers; support the Digital Industries Order Management team in various ad hoc activities.
  • Dispatch – follow‑up and customer update; support Sales Managers with material delivery follow‑up & prioritization process in close coordination with Business Unit & OM Team; monitoring and expediting, prioritization and dispatch process coordination; regular monitoring, reporting of orders in coordination with respective Siemens internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, freight forwarders) to ensure timely delivery of customer orders; notify the customer in advance of expected shipments; participate in Customer Relationship Management related activities.
